Description

VARME Underfloor Heating

Entire Home Heating using the VARME Underfloor Heating systems.

VARME Underfloor Heating is now becoming a popular form of heating, especially where cold surface tiles, stone and marble are used. Under floor heating was invented by the Romans some 2000 years ago, and today it is used in many countries around the world.

It is currently used extensively in bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories and sun rooms – in fact it can be used in any room where a tile, stone or marble floor is being fitted.

The installation itself is a straightforward DIY job – but we always recommend that the electrical connections are carried out by qualified electrician in accordance with current wiring regulations.

Need Help? You will probably be aware that there are many different systems on the market, all making different claims. With modern manufacturing methods, most products on the market are very reliable. However, there is a vast difference in performance. So, it is wise to do your research and choose the product that is right for your project.

Some systems on the market have a very low output (from 60watts/m2). These are designed for use in countries which have far better insulation standards than the UK. Varme have been actively involved in the design of the systems we sell, so they are specific to UK’s requirements.

Infrared heating works by directly heating walls, floors, things located in the heating area and a human body, instead of heating the air. Then heated objects release their heat into the environment. The Infrared heating acts directly and that means it does not require any contact such as air currents to carry the heat.
